The JD Bridges Foundation, a new non-profit organization that exists to build bridges for Black students in Canada applying to law school, is here to support you!
The inaugural program awards bursaries to cover the cost of the LSAT, an LSAT prep course, LSAT study materials, law school application fees, and transcript fees. Recipients will also be paired with a mentor who will review draft personal statements, and help the recipient prepare for any other law school application or interview questions.
Bursary funding is valued to approximately $ 2,500. Application deadline is April 15th 2022.

Black Boys Code
Starting April 6, 2022, join Black Boys Code for their virtual after-school program. This program is proudly sponsored by TD Bank.
As a continuation of their Learning Math Through Code Summer Camp Program, this 10-week program will build on the core topics participants learned during the summer. The online after-school program will run every Wednesday from April 6, 2022 to June 23, 2022 from 5-7 pm your local time.

Dr. Tamara Franz- Odendaal from Mount Sinai Vincent University, the Canadian Black Scientists Network, and Canada Research Chair Dr. Hennifer Adams, are studying the experiences of Black university students and postdocs in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Medicine/Health Sciences) In Canada.
The survey will take 20-40 minutes to complete and you will be entered into a draw for a 25$ Amazon gift card (1 drawn for every 50 participants)
Finance for the culture is an online financial service and educational platform that bridges the gap between finance and the community. Shay, the owner/creator of the workshop series is a financial advisor that has made it her prerogative to make financial literacy accessible and easily digestible for the public.
