Mediabrands & Kinesso Canada is looking for applicants for their Summer 2022 Media Internship. The Residency invites recent graduates with diverse backgrounds to gain practical experience over a 16-week period. Individuals will have the opportunity to work with global and leading front door agencies and specialty business units such as UM, Initiative, Media Experts, Reprise, Orion and Matterkind.This year, The Residency will run from May 2, 2022 to August 19, 2022 and applications are now open!
In early January 2022, their team will be hosting virtual information sessions for prospective candidates to learn more about Mediabrands & Kinesso and The Residency program. As a member of the Wellness & Equity (Student Experience) team, Raghad’s role entails developing strategies and support to provide equity, diversity, and inclusion education for students by creating, facilitating, and assessing student training sessions, workshops, and awareness events to promote dialogue, increase understanding, and foster learning through an intersectional approach. She is also a PhD candidate at Western’s Faculty of Education in Critical Policy, Equity and Leadership Studies.

You can attend upcoming EDI training opportunities which will be scheduled regularly starting January 2022 with dates available on the Wellness & Equity Education Website or work with Raghad to provide specific EDI training for you and your members.
Raghad develops event programming, such as Community of Care sessions, which have been hosted in the past supporting specific student groups such as Asian-Identifying students, Black and racialized students, Muslim and/or Pakistani students. These community of care sessions will be held monthly from January-April 2022 and dates/times will be available on the Wellness & Equity Education website.
